We’re so glad you’ve joined us on this second Sunday in the season of Lent. Even amid Lent we live in the light of Easter, and every Sabbath celebrates salvation! Welcome to worship, to forgiveness, to everlasting life.

If you have children then let us serve them through our babysitting service (nursery), Children in Worship (CIW) and Little Lambs (LL). Nursery is available in the lobby for ages 0-2. Directions regarding CIW & LL kids for children ages 3 (as of March 2019) through Kindergarten will be provided during morning worship.

Noise reducing headphones are now available to borrow during the morning service at the nursery counter. If your child lives with sensory input concerns, please feel free to use them.

We offer a sensory-friendly worship area for morning services, available in the Music Room (at the end of the hallway past the offices).

Hearing Loop Headsets are available for those who are hard of hearing. Please stop by the sound booth at the back of the sanctuary to receive a headset.

CRC Weekly and Requested Community Announcements pages are available in the rack on the bulletin kiosk.

News & Notes

Note From Council

As we discern God's will for our church, Council has decided to open the offices of Elder and Pastor to women at this time. With this decision, we invite you to pray for unity in our church. Just as Christ prayed for oneness with God and among believers, in John 17, we welcome prayer for each member of our community to remain focused on our mission to seek and grow disciples. No matter how each of us may receive this news, may we remain a community committed to spreading unto the world the grace and peace of the Christ whose gospel has transformed each of our lives.

Care Gram for Missions

Please stop by the table in the foyer and sign the Care Gram for our missionary, Kathy VanderKloet. Kathy is serving in Nigeria with Resonate Global Mission, our denomination’s mission/outreach agency. Jot a quick note of greeting and encouragement to let her know we’re praying for her and supporting her work!

If you are thinking about Christian Education for the 2019-2020 school year and need financial assistance, please look for the Christian Education Assistance packets on the information desk. Please also note that the deadline to apply is April 1.

LENT FAMILY FAITH FORMATION TIP - Lent is a time of self-examination. In your family time, ask some of these questions: Did I love people today like Jesus would love them? Did I do things I wish I hadn’t done, or were there things I should have done that I didn’t? Pray together about those things. (Faith Formation Ministries; crcna.org/FaithFormation)
