Welcome

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, welcome to worship, Christian fellowship and time to learn and grow in God’s Word. May you be blessed and strengthened through our worship and fellowship.  If you’re visiting, please stop by our Welcome Center for a gift. Everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a cup of coffee & conversation after morning worship.

If you have children then let us serve them through our babysitting service (nursery), Children in Worship (CIW) and Little Lambs (LL). Nursery is available in the lobby for ages 0-2. Directions regarding CIW & LL for children ages 3 (as of March 2020) through Kindergarten will be provided during morning worship.

Noise reducing headphones are available to borrow during the morning service at the nursery counter. If your child lives with sensory input concerns, feel free to use them.

We also offer a sensory-friendly worship area for morning services, available in the Sensory Worship Room at the end of the west hall.

Hearing Loop Headsets are available for those who are hard of hearing. Please stop by the sound booth at the back of the sanctuary to receive a headset.

CRC Weekly and Requested Community Announcements pages are available in the rack on the bulletin kiosk.

This Week's worship - November 10

10:00 Worship                                                                              5:00 PM Worship

Text: Proverbs 15:1-7                                                                 Text: Psalm 4

Preacher: Pastor Josh Benton                                                  Preacher: Pastor Bob Timmer

Offering: General/Building & Compassion Funds                Offering: Samaritan’s Carriage

This morning we celebrate the sacrament of communion together. In communion, we believe God's grace is made available to us in a tangible and unique way as we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus.

After morning worship there will be someone in the Prayer Room to pray with you, talk with you, and walk with you to God. The Prayer Room is at the east end of the church’s main hallway.

During our evening worship service, we will enjoy the musical ministry of The Heritage Singing Men. Pastor Bob will bring a message from Psalm 4. This service will also be held in the Great Room. Invite family, friends and neighbors for this special service!

At-Home Faith Formation Tip

“Wondering questions” are an excellent way to engage kids (and people of all ages!) with Scripture. For example, after you read the creation story, ask open-ended questions like “I wonder what it looked like when God created the stars?” “I wonder what it would be like if there were no predators in our world?” “I wonder what you would feel like if you were the first person in God’s creation?” (Tip from Faith Formation Ministries; crcna.org/FaithFormation)

More About Fairway

At Fairway we are learning to seek and grow disciples of Jesus. A disciple is not someone who has it all together, but follows the One who has it all together. That One is Jesus.

Jesus has made a way for imperfect people to meet the perfect God and gather with others who are also meeting Him. Disciples of Jesus experience grace and find community.

  • To learn more about being a disciple of Jesus, feel free to contact our pastor this week: Pastor Stan – 662-0828.

  • Bulletin announcement requests should be submitted to the office by the end of the day on Wednesday.

Not able to join us in person on Sunday? Tune in to our YouTube channel to watch our live streamed worship services. Search Fairway CRC.
