WELCOME TO FAIRWAY
This morning Rev. Scott Hoezee will be preaching for us. Rev. Hoezee is the director of the Center for Excellence in Preaching.
This evening we welcome Dr. Howard Vanderwell who will be preaching for us. Dr. Vanderwell is a retired pastor of the Christian Reformed Church who currently works as a consultant with the Calvin Institute for Christian Worship.
ARE YOU VISITING?
We are glad that you are here! If you did not bring a Bible with you then you may ask one of the ushers to bring you one for use during the worship service or to take home with you if you need. They will gladly do so! Please also enjoy some refreshments with us after the worship service! Allow us to greet you personally. And as our members place their financial gifts into the offering plate during the worship service you may participate with us but you aren’t expected to do so. We understand that you may have other causes that you would like to support instead. If you would like to speak with a pastor then please feel free to contact our associate pastor, Pastor Ed Tamminga. Our lead pastor, Pastor Dave Den Haan, is currently on sabbatical and will return to his study August 19.
ARE YOU VISITING WITH CHILDREN?
If you come with babies and/or toddlers you are welcome to bring them to the nursery, located across the lobby from the worship center. When you drop your child off you and your child will receive a designated number. If you are needed in the nursery during the service then your child’s number will appear on the small square screen in the upper left-hand corner of the worship center’s front wall.
If you have children who are 3 years old (as of March 1, 2010) through those who will be starting kindergarten in the fall, then please know that you are welcome to send them to our Children’s Worship program. An announcement will be made during the worship service at the time for releasing them. Feel free to accompany your child as he/she is gathered with other children in the lobby and taken to his/her classroom. This will help you to know where to pick him/her up after the worship service is concluded.
